Put your REDYPER™ bags on your doorstep for pickup

On collection day, we’ll pick up your REDYPER™ bags from your designated address—just like regular trash pickup. We offer one pickup per week, and there’s no need to be home; we’ll collect it right from your doorstep.

We take them away and compost them for you

We collect your dirty DYPER™ diapers and wipes weekly and compost them using an industrial process that breaks them down into compost.

Changing the world one happy bottom at a time

Unlike other leading brands our diapers are designed with double the plant-based materials so we can collect and compost them for you every week. Turn diapers to compost instead of letting them sit in a landfill with REDYPER™.

Traditional diapers sit in landfills

The average baby uses thousands of diapers before they’re potty trained. That’s millions of pounds of waste added to landfills each week — and it sticks around for centuries.

But we believe in a better way. One that protects air, forests and the future. DYPER™ works flawlessly today and reduces plastic waste in landfills.

15 million lbs and counting

We’ve saved more than 15 million pounds of diapers from landfills and turned them into something useful. Join us and help protect your baby’s future with every diaper they use.

Why can't I compost myself?

Composting of human waste requires specialized conditions, including safe material handling procedures and specific pre-processing steps. Very few composting facilities exist around the country that are properly licensed and equipped to handle this type of waste stream.

How does composting differ from recycling?

Recycling involves reprocessing old materials into new raw materials, which can later be used to create new products. Glass, plastic, paper, textiles, and metals are commonly recycled.

Composting is the natural decaying of biodegradable organic material, producing nutrient-rich topsoil. The composting process occurs normally in nature but very slowly (measured in years).

Our industrial composting process accelerates the natural process of decomposition by actively controlling the composting conditions (temperatures, aeration, carbon, and nitrogen content) that allow aerobic bacteria to thrive, producing the end product in as little as 14 weeks.

What can't get composted will get filtered out before compost is used for commercial purposes.

How does the REDYPER™ program work?

REDYPER™ is a collection service we currently offer in 20 cities, with more on the way. We currently serve:

Atlanta • Austin • Boston • Chicago • Denver/Boulder • Los Angeles • Minneapolis • Nashville • New York City • Newark • Philadelphia • Phoenix • Portland • Sacramento • Salt Lake City • San Diego • San Francisco • Seattle • Washington D.C. • Raleigh

If you live in one of these cities, check your address on our composting page. If you are in a pickup area, you will be able to enroll now.

With REDYPER™, we'll pick up your used diapers in person through one of our trusted local partners. The cost is $15 for each pickup plus the cost of DYPER compostable bags, which you can order through your account.

Here are some tips for making the most of REDYPER:

LOOK FOR YOUR WELCOME KIT.

When you sign up for REDYPER™, we'll send you a welcome kit that comes with a starter roll of DYPER compostable bags.

ALWAYS USE DYPER COMPOSTABLE BAGS FOR YOUR PICKUP.

We can only collect diapers in DYPER or BioBag brand compostable bags. If you use a plastic bag or a compostable bag from another brand, our drivers won't be able to complete your pickup request.

EMAIL US WITH ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS.

If you live in a gated community with an access code or have other instructions our pickup drivers need to know, send us an email at redyper@dyper.com with the details. Our goal is to make your REDYPER™ pickup process as seamless as possible.

MARK YOUR SCHEDULED PICKUP DAY.

You can view your pickup day at any time in your account. Pickups in each local area occur on a set day every week, which cannot be changed.

If you have any issues with your pickup request, email us at redyper@dyper.com and we're happy to help.

WE'LL ALWAYS SEND YOU EMAIL REMINDERS.

Having a young child at home can be wonderful, joyful – and hectic. But we won’t let you forget an upcoming pickup. We'll send you a reminder email a day ahead of time so you'll always have a head start on getting things ready.

LEAVE YOUR REDYPER PICKUP AT YOUR FRONT DOOR.

The night before your pickup day, place your secured compostable DYPER bag full of used DYPER diapers in front of your door, or within a few feet and in plain view. Our drivers don't call, ring doorbells, or look into unmarked bins or buckets for your REDYPER bags. Please note there is a 3 bag limit per pickup.

If you do need to use a bin or a bucket due to wildlife or local regulations, email us at redyper@dyper.com so we can alert our driver. Make sure your container is clearly labeled DYPER and follow the same instructions as above.

NEED TO SKIP OR CANCEL A PICKUP REQUEST?

Pickups and pickup charges can’t be skipped, canceled, or refunded at this time. REDYPER™ operates like your local trash service. The drivers drive each route in full on the specified day, every week, regardless of individual customers being out of town, forgetting to put bags out, etc. This allows us to keep costs low and run the program for years to come.

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOUR BAG RIPS?

As you can imagine, ripped bags are a liability for our pickup drivers. If your bag rips, please double bag it in a second DYPER compostable bag. Our drivers will only pick up the green DYPER or BioBag compostable bags from your door, and only if they are secured and unripped.

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU MISS A PICKUP?

Our drivers run pickup routes from 4:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on your local pickup day. They may show up anytime between those hours, so be sure to put your bag out the night before.

If you have any issues or questions with your pickups, email us at redyper@dyper.com and we can assist you personally.

HOW TO CANCEL REDYPER™.

To cancel your REDYPER™ service at any time, for any reason, just log in to your account. If you have any trouble with your cancellation, email us at redyper@dyper.com, and we'll connect you to a real person who can help.
