Compostable Tall Trash Bags

I appreciate that these exist, but they feel awful to touch (I may have some atypical preferences for texture but my kid's dad also hates touching these). It's worse when they get damp, as they often do in the diaper pail and compost bin. I continue to use them because we do redyper pickups but if there were other options that felt less unpleasant I would be very happy. I'm not sure how to describe how they feel, but they are kinda gritty or sticky, and can get slimy when damp. It feels kinda like handling chalk or powdered latex gloves, both of which I also hate.

But they do what they are designed to do.

You need to be extremely gentle as they rip. And you can’t use them until close to pick up because they disintegrate in the trash can.
But at least they’re going to composting!
